These Cake Combs and Icing Scrapers are discounted because of superficial imperfections, and will not affect the performance of the product.
Examples of defects are scratches, partial or inaccurate engraving, and slight wear from use and handling in product photography. None of these defects will prevent you from getting the desired results from our product.
TIP: We find using Cake Combs on cold icing works the best. Our owner Juli chills her iced tiers for at least 1 hour before using a Cake Comb. Apply very light pressure with the Comb, and make many passes until the desired pattern is achieved.
